【CJLC Notice】Application Guidelines for the 2025 Digital Learning Course Grant

 

To foster students’ autonomous online learning and encourage participation in digital courses offered by both domestic and international platforms, the Ching Chiang Lifelong Learning and Digital Learning Center (CJLC) is offering the 2025 Digital Learning Course Grant.

The courses eligible for this grant refer to those that can be taken online via recognized digital learning platforms at the student's own pace and that provide an official proof of course completion.


1. Application Requirements

  • Eligible Platforms and Course Period:
    Courses must be taken through well-known platforms such as:

    • Domestic: eWant, OpenEdu

    • International: Coursera, edX, FutureLearn, Udacity
      Applicants must complete the course and obtain a certificate of completion or similar document in 2025, and the course must be paid.

  • Application Deadline:
    From now until May 19, 2025 (Monday) at 17:00.

  • Eligible Applicants:
    Current students of National Chung Cheng University.

  • Application Submission:
    Submit the following documents in full to the Digital Learning Section, CJLC (Room 117, General Classroom Building) before the deadline:

    1. Original application form (see Attachment 1)

    2. Copy of personal bank account details (not needed if already registered with the university)

    3. Copy of certificate of course completion (e.g., course certificate or verification of completion)

    4. Copy of proof of course payment (e.g., receipt, invoice, or payment confirmation email)


2. Grant Policy

  • Each applicant may apply for only one course, with a maximum subsidy of NTD 2,000 per course (either domestic or international platform).

  • A total of 15 recipients will be awarded. The number of recipients may be adjusted depending on the number of applications and available funding.

  • Grants will be awarded based on the order of complete submission. If an applicant is found ineligible, the slot will be given to the next eligible applicant.


3. Timeline

  • Review Period: May 20 (Tue) to May 23 (Fri), 2025

  • Recipient Announcement: May 27 (Tue), 2025 on the CJLC website: https://cjlc.ccu.edu.tw/

  • Grant Distribution: By June 6 (Fri), 2025


4. Notes and Reminders

  • Only paid courses with certificate purchases are eligible. Courses that are free (even temporarily), fully discounted, or do not provide a certificate of completion are not eligible.

  • Acceptable payment documents must be issued by the platform and include: student’s name, purchased item, amount paid, date of payment, and platform name (see Attachment 2).

  • Applications with incomplete or incorrect information, or that do not comply with the regulations, will be considered invalid without further notice. The vacancy will be filled by the next eligible applicant.

  • Matters not covered herein shall be handled in accordance with the university's “Regulations for the Digital Learning Course Grant” and relevant policies.
