I. Flexible Talent Acquisition, Adaptive Development

The program looks for gifted, ambitious or underprivileged talents that can broaden the spectrum of diversity. Under the current education system, junior and high school students do not have many opportunities to explore their interests, a loss that might pose a problem when it comes to professional development. The Interdisciplinary Studies Program addresses this problem by providing students with active cross-disciplinary counseling, allowing them ample freedom to explore and develop their professional development. The program accepts students through the special talent program and individual application.

II. Liberal Education and Core Competencies

A liberal education aimed to cultivate professional, interdisciplinary talents and leaders, focusing on the development of core competencies including aesthetics, communication, critical thinking, foreign language skills, interpersonal relationship, management methods, social care, global perspective, etc.

III. Diversity & Interdisciplinary Integration

The Interdisciplinary Studies Program is meant to break the boundary between disciplinaries to facilitate the cultivation of professional and comprehensive talents. It allows first-year students and sophomores to access libeal and diverse professional courses to develop integrative knowledge and collaborative skills and to concentrate on dedicated, interdisciplinary studies in their junior and senior years while also participating in fieldwork.

IV.  Self-Management, Lifelong Learning

The program offers students a wide range of opportunities and options to explore and develop their diverse talents and interests. In return, students are expected to be active, independent learners in charge of their own study plans and schedules and being committed to lifelong learning.
